Ageing Canadians (45–85 years) with osteoarthritis need long-term care, but patterns of how they access rehabilitation services over time are not clearly defined. To examine this issue, researchers are analyzing cohort data from the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging to identify six-year rehabilitation use trajectories across different income, sex, gender, and age groups.

Falls are a major public health concern due to their impact on individuals and the health system, leading researchers to examine the acceptability of the StandingTall balance exercise app prior to its potential implementation in Canada. Can storytelling help engage people living with dementia in research interviews?

Methods for supporting the participation of people living with dementia in research are rarely evaluated to understand how they affect participant engagement. To examine verbally-prompted storytelling techniques, researchers conducted traditional and storytelling-based interviews with twelve participants, compared the resulting data using qualitative content analysis, and measured participant engagement with an observational scale.
